BANDS VS. BOYBANDS

What's the difference between bands and boybands?

BAND
a group of people who make music and they play their own instruments while performing. Examples of bands are "All Time Low", "The1975", "Sleeping with Sirens", etc.


BOYBAND
a group of people who also make music but they don't play any instruments while on stage.
Examples of boybands are "One Direction", "N'SYNC", "Big Time Rush", etc.


Even with these differences, both are still very talented.
